Trek Series
The Trek Series encompasses the majority of paddlers with neoprene decks that stretch for ease in fitting on the cockpit and providing a water tight seal around the rim.
TREK decks feature a spray deck constructed of abrasion resistant, four-way stretch, 3.5 mm Supratex Neoprene. This unique neoprene is designed with a double diamond, waffle construction that is both very flexible and durable. With Supratex Neoprene and Snap Dragon’s easy fit shock cord sewn directly to the deck material, the Trek series makes for an excellent touring and recreational spray skirt, fitting most kayak enthusiasts and cockpits easily.
The SOS, Safety Off Strap is a standard feature on the Glacier Trek and Sea Trek skirts. One inch wide flat nylon webbing is stitched to the sides of the deck, extending across the top of the spray skirt. Pulling up on the Safety Off Strap releases the deck at the sides of the coaming. A buckle for adjusting the tightness of the webbing keeps the strap taut along the top of the deck.
