When I'm setting off on a long solo expedition, it's Nova Craft's 15 foot Prospector that is my first choice for such a journey. I’ve paddled Nova Craft’s Prospector 15 in the TuffStuff Expedition layup in some of the toughest, most challenging conditions imaginable and it has held up in all of them. My Prospector manages to be both amazingly tough and durable, able to withstand grinding over ice and rocks, yet remarkably light and maneuverable when I need to portage for miles with no trails. If there’s a better expedition canoe, I’ve never heard of it.
